Hi there!
I am creating a collection of fully blind accessible games, and your game is listed under the "blind support tag".  The word "blind" means different things to different people, and within that wide spectrum their are various levels of expertise with visual UI's.  but as a fully blind gamer, I am wondering what features this game provides for those who can not see the screen at all.  Do you have "screen reader" or "text to speech" support?  Is your game fully playable with a keyboard or controller, rather than having to point the mouse at buttons on the interface? If the answer to those questions is no, it would still be great to know what options are provided for those with less severe visual impairments, so that I might make them aware of your game's usability for them.  Thank you for any information you can provide, it's very much appreciated! :)

Hi! The game makes use of optional image captions for the in-game illustrations, which can be used alongside the built-in text-to-speech (enabled by pressing V on the keyboard). Along with the toggle in the settings menu, the player is given the option to enable image captions on first startup and the game is fully playable with the keyboard. For the most part, the game is playable with a controller (although the controls can't be natively remapped), but the text-to-speech function itself cannot be activated on a controller without using a third-party tool to remap a button to V.

That said, I'd also like to point out that while text-to-speech is available in both downloadable builds of the game as it's built into the engine I used, the image captions themselves are only in the 1.1 version.

Thanks for reaching out! 😄 I'll add the information on how to enable text-to-speech to the game page; it's a native Ren'Py feature, but it slipped my mind that most people aren't familiar with all of that engine's commands/keyboard shortcuts.

All recent renpy games do have TTS and the provision for alt text built in, but keyboard nav, actually adding alt text, not using visual only puzzles, text alternatives for vital visual indicators ETC, that's all up to the dev. So that's why it's nice to know in the description what you've done specifically. :)
Seems like your kicking ass at the blind accessibility based on what you've said though, so thank you very much!

this was so funny, thalius has a really funny voice about them that i really got a kick out of a few times, which is impressive in such a short game! would totally love to see more of them as a protagonist, love a good disaster bisexual.

I like the comedy in this! The 'phone' is my favourite action because it came as a surprise that it actually does something.
