Things are not going well in the kingdom of Ustaria. Of late, King Ansellus—known throughout the lands as a just and kind ruler—has become a bloodthirsty tyrant, behaving erratically and sending scores of his subjects to meaningless deaths.
His behavior has shocked everyone, but few more than Serrill, a powerful mage, one of the kingdom's most accomplished exorcists, and Ansellus' long-ago lover. Serrill is confident that Ansellus is no longer himself—so confident that he's taken it upon himself to go on a one-man mission to save him.
Only one thing is certain: Serrill's life will be forever changed.

It's always nice getting to play a hottie. Even if it's a sad one.
AUGHHHHH I went through this as soon as I saw it on bsky!! I love the premise of it so much. It's amazing! I'd love the way it's written and the art is beautiful!!
It was short, succint, and a wonderful tragedy. I'd love to see it expanded more on in the future or if you could point me to some of your other games if they share the same theme! This was so wonderfully written, I could practically hear Serrill and Ansellus' banter.
(Just a heads up, I think the "refuse the kiss" ending is glitched? It abruptly cuts to the menu screen again... It DID make sense that you refuse Ansellus and the demon boots you out to the menu screen)
